YOUR PROFILE

• More than three years of experience in middleware operations and support.
• Strong knowledge of web and application server technologies (e.g., Apache HTTP Server, NGINX).
• Solid understanding of system integration, application deployment, and middleware lifecycle management.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.
• Fluent in English and German, both spoken and written.
• Experience in creating and maintaining automation scripts using PowerShell, Bash, or other scripting languages is a strong asset.

Nice to Have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Exposure to enterprise service bus (ESB) or API management tools

Your responsibilities

1. Operate and maintain middleware platforms (e.g., WebLogic, JBoss, WebSphere, Kafka).
2. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to application servers and message brokers.
3. Perform system health checks, log analysis, and root cause investigations.
4. Deploy and configure applications, manage security settings (SSL, certificates), and apply patches.
5. Tune performance parameters (e.g., JVM, thread pools) and optimize monitoring.
6. Create and maintain runbooks and automation scripts (e.g., PowerShell, Bash).
