• Excellent Microsoft Excel skills (cost analysis, price breakdown, data processing).
• Strong business English – fluent in verbal and written communication.
• Stress resilience, quick decision-making, proactive approach, and strong analytical skills.
• Willingness to travel internationally (approx. 5%).
• Automotive industry experience (especially in “launch” purchasing projects).
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to interpret cost structures.
• Business maturity, and strong relationship-building skills with suppliers and internal stakeholders.

Your responsibilities

1. Manage the complete purchasing process for new projects – from RFQ stage to SOP.
2. Identify, approve, and develop new suppliers in line with global guidelines and project plans.
3. Negotiate terms, analyze cost structures, and ensure best value sourcing.
4. Collaborate closely with Design Engineering, Application Engineering, Quality, Project Management, and Global Procurement teams.
5. Ensure purchasing activities meet project KPIs, particularly regarding operational profit targets.
