About Sybilla Technologies📡

Sybilla Technologies designs, builds and operates robotic optical observatories for monitoring objects in space. The company specializes in the complete systems, software for automated data acquisition, analysis, and scheduling of networks of sensors. We work in the domains of Space Situational Awareness, Space Surveillance and Tracking, Space Traffic Management, Near Earth Objects, stellar and planetary research, education, and commercial on-demand observations.

We are looking for a Sensor Automation & Integration Developer to join our team🚀

You’ll join a team working at the intersection of software and physical devices. Our systems fully control automated observatories that react to real-world conditions — such as weather or environmental signals — in real time.

Your focus will be on building and maintaining C#/.NET applications that communicate with sensors, robotic hardware, and scientific instruments. You’ll work both with existing legacy codebases and new components, integrating devices via SDKs, optimizing performance, and contributing to the reliability of automated data flows.

If you enjoy solving practical engineering problems, working closely to hardware (but not on embedded level), and contributing to space-related systems — we’d love to hear from you.

Terms of employment:

  • Remote employment model (main office is in Bydgoszcz/Zielonka).
  • Salary: 130 PLN – 170 PLN/h (B2B contract), depending on your experience and qualifications.
  • Flexible work time.
  • Medical package and sports package.
  • “Telescopic Thursdays” – the opportunity to remotely connect with our facilities for personal, hobbyist observations.

Your responsibilities

  1. Integration and optimization of software for robotic sensor networks.
  2. Integration of robotic sensor hardware components using SDKs and APIs.
  3. Maintaining and enhancing technology for controlling optical telescopes.
  4. Creating and improving communication protocols among robotic sensor software components.
  5. Optimizing software for efficient acquisition and analysis of observational data.
  6. Developing solutions for storing, monitoring data quality, and reporting results from processing chains (pipelines, workflows).
