Requirements description

Requirements:

• Proven experience with AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, Lambda).
• Strong knowledge of Docker and CI/CD processes.
• Scripting proficiency in Bash or Python.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform.
• Strong understanding of observability and system monitoring.
• Fluent in English (B2+) and native-level Polish (C2), both spoken and written.
• Must be based in Poland.

Nice to Have:

• Exposure to multi-cloud environments (Azure, Google Cloud).
• Experience with GitOps tools like ArgoCD or Flux.
• Knowledge of performance optimization for large-scale systems.

Algoteque is a Software Development and IT Nearshore company with over 15 years of experience in providing augmented teams and delivering scalable IT solutions for businesses across multiple industries.

We are building a dedicated DevOps team to work on an innovative project for the education sector. This project involves the integration and enhancement of several systems into a unified, scalable SaaS platform hosted in an AWS environment. It also includes the development of advanced modules for real-time scheduling, business intelligence and AI, and data management, all aimed at transforming operations and improving user experiences across the platform.

Your responsibilities

1. Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure.
2. Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
3. Ensure system reliability, observability, and monitoring using tools like Datadog.
4. Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
5. Optimise containerized applications using Docker.
