What you need to have to succeed in this role

  • Stakeholder management skills. You will need to communicate complex scenarios to multiple levels of stakeholders and management.
  • Manage workloads: Experience of Agile practices would be beneficial and be able to take ownership of tasks assigned with minimal supervision. You need to be a strong decision maker and proactive self-starter
  • Customer Focus: Passion to improve the customer experience by reviewing, designing, and where required,  re-engineering processes.
  • Tooling Experience: Experience working with ServiceNow tool or other ITSM tools would be beneficial.
  • Process Experience: Understanding of Configuration Management and ServiceNow Common Service Data Model would be beneficial.

Proficiency in English. We are a diverse company. Ability to communicate on a business level with everyone is a must.

We have a unique opportunity for you to join our team and support the process and governance activities supporting the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) within Service Management. The Service Management team, spread across regions and different time zones, plays a critical role in keeping our services stable, our risks visible, and our operations moving forward. The CMDB plays a key role in this by providing the centralized repository of information about the IT infrastructure and service dependencies. This centralized view supports IT Service Management processes by offering the information visibility and context needed to make informed decisions

Your responsibilities

  1. Support the Product Owner in Configuration Management Database (CMDB) Governance including
  2. Ongoing review and refinement of CMDB processes and policies to support alignment to the agreed data models and CSDM strategy.
  3. Enforcement of data quality standards in support of CMDB health metrics.
  4. Support strategic needs of CMDB including
  5. Management of CI Classes, including implementation of CI Policies to enforce data completeness and correctness.
  6. An understanding of how to evolve CMDB using the Common Service Data Model to support strategic needs
