Requirements description

🔧 What we’re looking for:

• 3+ years of experience in software testing (manual + automation)
• Strong knowledge of Java and OOP principles
• Hands-on experience with Selenium + WebDriver
• Solid understanding of web technologies (HTML, JS, AngularJS, XML, Web Services)
• Experience with BDD using Cucumber
• API testing skills (SOAP/REST)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
• Version control systems – preferably Git
• Familiarity with tools like JIRA or Azure DevOps
• Good understanding of ISTQB principles and software QA methodologies
• Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written)
• Ability to work both independently and in a team

⭐ Nice to have:

• Experience testing Salesforce or similar CRM systems
• Background in insurance or financial services
• Familiarity with Confluence, advanced Jenkins usage
• ISTQB certification or test management experience

We are looking for a Quality Automation Engineer to join a long-term project in the insurance industry, supporting a global transformation initiative. You’ll be working in a dynamic, distributed team focused on building high-quality solutions with Salesforce at the core.

This is a hands-on QA role with a strong emphasis on test automation (Java + Selenium), integration testing, and collaboration with DevOps and developers across the SDLC. If you're passionate about clean code, scalable automation frameworks, and value business impact — this is your place.

You’ll test both web and API layers (SOAP/REST) and help ensure stability, compliance, and performance of a high-impact platform used by global insurance teams.

Your responsibilities

1. Designing and maintaining automated and manual test plans
2. Writing and executing test cases for UI, API, and backend logic
3. Performing regression, functional, and exploratory testing
4. Collaborating with developers, BAs, and DevOps to improve quality across the pipeline
5. Creating Cucumber-based BDD test scripts
6. Working in a CI/CD environment (Jenkins, Azure DevOps)
