We are seeking an experienced Python Software Engineer to join our high-performing team, collaborating with the Data Science team on machine learning and AI initiatives, the Data Engineering team on data pipeline development, and the Product team on back-end services and new product features. You will contribute to a cloud-based data analysis and business intelligence platform by designing, developing, and optimising data workflows, APIs, and supporting infrastructure.

Your responsibilities

1. English Language: Highly proficient in written and spoken English
2. Advanced Knowledge of Python: Proficient in Python 3.x for production-grade applications, covering data processing, automation, and API development. Skilled with libraries like pandas, numpy and frameworks such as FastAPI.
3. Software Development Experience: 4+ years with proven ability to design scalable, reliable, secure solutions
4. Database Proficiency: Strong SQL skills, including schema design, optimisation, and Python integration
5. API Development: Experience building secure, versioned RESTful APIs with clear documentation
6. Architecture & Containers: Knowledge of micro/macro service design, Docker, and workflow orchestration
