We are looking for:
Core Insurance Systems Transformation Architect/Business Analyst
Your future role:
We understand you may be leaning more towards Business Analysis or to Architecture role. Regardless of your preference and experience, we would need you to be a great colleague as well as trusted Client advisor. We would like you to support your colleagues in both the delivery of the typically long, complex transformation programs, but also in ideation and presales of solutions and services.
In implementation projects you will be working with modern cloud & AI technologies and architectures, as well as with leading core insurance systems (such as Guidewire, EIS, Graphene).
If you are focusing on a Business Analysis, your typical responsibilities will include:
Leading or supporting business and system analysis across front, middle, and back-office processes,
Facilitating workshops with client stakeholders to gather and refine requirements, across inception, design, development and testing phases,
Documenting business processes, functional specifications, and system requirements,
Defining integration interfaces and contributing to the design and testing of API and file-based integrations,
Participating in agile delivery, UAT/SIT cycles, and cutover/dress rehearsal planning,
Collaborating with stakeholders across business and IT to ensure alignment and quality of deliverables.
If you are focusing more on the Architecture/Tech Leadership, your typical responsibilities will include:
Leading and supporting business in software architecture patterns and principles (e.g. microservices, SOA, event-driven architecture),
Sharing the knowledge and advice related to cloud systems and cloud native applications design,
Review the solutions written in different programming languages and frameworks like: Java, Node.js. React, Jutro Design Framework),
Being expert in DevOps topics, CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code,
Support a development team in their daily tasks related to core insurance systems and in such topics like maintaining databases (SQL and NoSQL) and data modeling, security best practices, API design, integration patterns,
Sharing best practices related to high quality development, agile and scrum principles.
Apply if you have:
At least 5 years of experience in financial services IT projects, in either insurance or banking industry,
A practical knowledge of insurance core systems, such as Guidewire, EIS, RGI, Peak3,
Strong communication, analytical and documentation skills, including UML, BPMN, and writing functional/technical specs in accordance to your role,
Understanding of integration architecture (APIs, messaging, file-based) and frameworks,
Understanding of Data concepts,
Understanding of public cloud,
Experience working in advisory/consulting type of engagements,
Fluency in English,
Team spirit,
Good understanding and experience in agile/scrum methodology,
Experience in all stages of projects, from inception/analysis to testing and deployment,
Ability to clearly communicate in spoken English as well as in writing, creation of high-quality deliverables and materials,
Willingness to travel to client once in a month or two.
Nice to have:
Certificates in Guidewire or EIS or similar core systems, that confirm your knowledge of the systems,
Enterprise Architecture experience,
Banking experience on top of Insurance experience,
Experience in project management and team management,
Fluency in German.
