Senior Frontend Developer (React)

About Us

We’re a fast-growing startup revolutionizing analog payments through QR code technology. Our mission is to bridge the gap between digital and physical transactions, creating seamless, user-friendly experiences. As we scale, we’re looking for a Senior Frontend Developer with expertise in React to drive our frontend architecture and mentor our development team.

The Role

This is a hands-on senior role where you’ll define the frontend vision for our product while guiding and growing the development team. You’ll ensure our applications are performant, scalable, and deliver an exceptional user experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership: Architect, develop, and maintain high-quality frontend applications using React (web).

• Team Mentorship: Lead, coach, and grow a team of frontend developers.

• Performance & Scalability: Optimize applications for speed, usability, and scalability.

• Cross-Platform Development: Ensure seamless functionality across web and mobile platforms.

• Collaboration: Work closely with UX/UI designers, backend developers, and product teams to deliver outstanding solutions.

• Best Practices: Establish coding standards, conduct code reviews, and implement modern frontend workflows.

• Innovation: Stay ahead of industry trends and introduce cutting-edge technologies where applicable.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of frontend development experience, with a strong focus on React.

• Proven experience in leading or mentoring development teams (startup/scale-up environment preferred).

• Deep understanding of state management (Redux, Context API, etc.), hooks, and modern React patterns.

• Strong knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, CSS-in-JS, and responsive design.

• Experience with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, etc.).

• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and frontend deployment processes.

• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience in fintech, payments, or QR code-based solutions.

• Knowledge of native mobile development (Swift, Kotlin) or cross-platform frameworks.

• Background in performance optimization and accessibility best practices.
