About the Role:

We’re seeking an experienced Senior AR/VR Developer with at least 5 years of professional experience in Unity development for VR platforms. In this role, you’ll contribute to the creation of advanced immersive applications for a medical device designed for vision testing using a custom VR headset. This is a unique chance to apply your AR/VR expertise in a practical clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, prototype, and develop cutting-edge VR applications using Unity3D for custom hardware solutions.

• Optimize application performance for Android-based VR devices.

• Integrate with popular AR/VR platforms such as Pico, HTC Vive, Oculus, and others.

• Collaborate closely with cross-disciplinary teams, including QA, product management, and UI/UX designers.

• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, bugs, and technical challenges.

• Maintain high standards of code quality, structure, and documentation.

• Contribute to the ongoing improvement of development workflows, tools, and pipelines.

• Stay current with the latest trends and advancements in AR/VR technology, particularly for medical and enterprise applications.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in AR/VR/MR application development using Unity3D.

• Strong skills in C# and/or C++.

• Proven experience with VR rendering, GPU performance optimization, and working with OpenXR or platform-specific SDKs.

• Solid grasp of 3D mathematics (including linear algebra) and rendering systems.

• Proficient in object-oriented programming, design patterns, and version control systems (Git).

• Experience deploying Unity applications on Android devices.

• Familiarity with SolidWorks and basic concepts in AI/ML is a plus.

• Background in building real-time 3D applications for industries outside of gaming, such as healthcare or industrial solutions.

• Comfortable developing for both mobile and desktop VR environments.

• Excellent English communication skills, both written and spoken.

• Ability to collaborate across multiple time zones, with partial overlap with teams based in Pakistan and the United States.
