Job description

As part of the IT organization serving the Financial Information business unit, we are continuously improving our customers' experience.

Our application intakes data from a variety of sources (batched and streamed). A process of data integration is applied to unify all our sources under the same form. This information is provided to our internal clients through dynamic API using the latest technologies.

What You Will Do

• Execute full lifecycle software development.

• Collaborate with the product owner and other team members in order to provide suitable software solutions to requirements.

• Ship high-quality, thoroughly reviewed code on time.

• Actively participate in regular Scrum ceremonies and provide recommendations for continuous improvement.

• Maintain and support the software in production.

• Have on-call responsibilities.

What You Bring

• Degree in Computer Science or a similar field with 5+ years of software/information systems development experience using technologies like: Java, Spring, Quarkus, SQL databases like PostgreSQL.

• Backend knowledge, mainly DBs oriented is a must.

• GraphQL, REST and DevOps would be an advantage.

• Good to excellent experience in high volume data processing and delivery scalability and performance.

• Ideally, financial reference data knowledge would be highly appreciated.

• Strong sense of quality through integration tests and unit tests.

• Agile software development methodologies familiarity and customer orientation

• Strong work-ethic, ability to work independently and prioritize tasks with good analytical and problem solving skills

• Excellent verbal and written skills in English.
