Job description

We are currently seeking a Senior Platform & Infrastructure Engineer to support the Financial Markets Department. While experience in financial domains is a plus, it is not a requirement. The primary focus of this role is on Disaster Recovery, with potential future involvement in data ingestion.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain platform infrastructure and support its tenants

• Maintain data analytics platform components

• Contribute to architecture development and experimentation

• Prepare cloud-ready and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) solutions

• Manage platform monitoring and alerting

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with GCP public cloud, including platform development

• Strong IaC mindset; experience with Terraform and Azure DevOps pipelines

• Familiarity with GCP analytics services (Cloud Run, Vertex AI, GKE, BigQuery, Dataproc)

• Hands-on experience with monitoring, observability, logging, and alerting

• Kubernetes deployment and management

• Bash scripting and Linux system administration

• Programming skills in Python or Golang

• Knowledge of secure authentication and encryption (OIDC, KMS, TLS, etc.)

• Experience building large-scale, secure applications

• Contributions to open-source projects

• Distributed cloud computing and storage on GCP
