Senior Director of Engineering (.Net, React, Architecture) – Warsaw, Poland (Remote → Hybrid)

Our client is a US-based technology company headquartered in New York City, delivering innovative digital solutions and cloud-based platforms for private capital markets. With offices in multiple countries, the company is now investing in a new engineering centre in Warsaw, highly valuing the technical expertise and strong work ethic of software engineers in Poland.

Currently, our client is building a new team in Warsaw. While the work is fully remote for now, within a few months, the role will require working from the Warsaw office 3 days per week.

🎯 The Role

We’re looking for an experienced and dynamic Senior Director of Engineering to lead cross-functional teams and design cutting-edge technical solutions. You will drive innovation and oversee teams including UI/UX, QA, Development, DevOps, and Security, ensuring alignment with best practices, budgets, and business outcomes.

🛠️ Key Responsibilities

Lead solution design and technical architecture for complex business challenges.

Manage multiple cross-functional project teams across time zones.

Provide strategic input on tools, technologies, and methodologies.

Coach and mentor future leaders and top technical talent.

Drive delivery quality and adherence to security standards.

Communicate technical solutions effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

📌 Your Profile

10+ years in the technology sector, ideally within IT services.

Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

Proven experience with enterprise architecture and full-stack environments.

Familiarity with .Net Core, React, and relational/non-relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MongoDB).

Strong leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional team management experience.

Agile project delivery expertise.

Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
