The last few years have seen a significant increase in the importance of digital in the Commerce space at Heineken. HEINEKEN’s digital solutions are a vital component in protecting and growing the company's revenue. To ensure that this trend is supported the Commerce DevOps Hub has been established. This newly created organization, being an integral part of the Global Digital & Technology Function, is tasked with engineering the software which powers e-Commerce. The Commerce DevOps Hub location is in Kraków, Poland.

As the Senior Solution Engineer in the Global deployment team, you will be a business facing individual responsible for the technical configuration of specific business processes of our OpCo’s across a variety of technologies. Ensuring on time delivery of agreed scope and functionality with the Deployment Lead, for our OpCo’s to better serve their customers. Being a technical SME to junior team members and business counterparts to drive a successful outcome.

Your responsibilities would include:

  • technical activities: customizing and configurating software applications or systems to meet the agreed scope; developing and maintaining configuration rules and logic based on business requirements and industry best practices; conducting thorough testing and validation of configured solutions to ensure accuracy and functionality; during all stages of the deployment project, provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance to users and internal teams as needed
  • documentation and knowledge transfer: contributing to documenting configuration processes, guidelines, and best practices for future reference; being responsible for ensuring proper knowledge transfer to service delivery and OpCo teams
  • collaboration: colaborating with the Deployment Lead to ensure appropriate deployment process is in place and followed; collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and specifications for product configurations
  • learning and Ccaching: being updated on emerging technologies and trends in key technologies in our landscape to onboard and mentor colleagues in regular solution engineer position.

You are a good candidate if you have:

  • 8+ years of working experience in the similar position deploying software into large multi nationals
  • at least 4-7 years of experience working with many of the below-mentioned technologies
  • experience in collaboration with cross-functional teams and senior business stakeholders to ensure successful delivery
  • strong understanding of configuration management principles and practices
  • strong communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with stakeholders at all levels
  • ability to learn new technologies fast
  • ability to multitask
  • experience with distributed systems, microservices architecture
  • excellent written and verbal English
  • experience with Jira.

Good to know many of the following:

  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CE or F&O or Contact Centre)
  • JavaScript / TypeScript (Node.js)
  • GraphQL / Apollo
  • Loyalty Solutions (i.e. Epsilon)
  • Payment platforms (i.e. process out)
  • CTI Solutions (i.e. Genesys)
  • SAP
  • Middleware solutions (i.e. Boomi or MuleSoft)
  • Azure DevOps.
