As a Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play an integral role in improving our operations environment to ensure optimal performance, including CI/CD, logging, monitoring, and cloud computing. In addition, you would apply innovative problem-solving to automate workflows and maximize the operational efficiency of our software engineering team.
Responsibilities
Developing and maintaining CI/CD processes for applications and infrastructure with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or an equivalent
Implementing industry best practices for system hardening and configuration management
Developing and maintaining logging, monitoring and alerting solutions to track system health and security
Designing and implementing reliable cloud solutions along with service-oriented architectures
Ensuring systems' availability, performance, scalability, and security are up to standard
Collaborating with the software development team to ensure software and systems interoperability
Requirements
Proven experience with CI/CD and version control tools, logging, and monitoring
Demonstrated experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, or Puppet
Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Shell, or Bash
Hands-on in logging and monitoring tools (any of Prometheus / Grafana / Splunk / ELK / Graylog / NewRelic / AppDynamics / Dynatrace / Datadog / Zabbix or similar)
Deep knowledge of cloud platform solutions with proven experience maintaining cloud-based production-grade environments like AWS, GCP, or Azure
Understanding of networking and security architectures
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
