Job description

About the Role:

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer (MEAN/MERN) to support the development of scalable, secure web applications for a global health-tech platform. In this position, you’ll work across the full stack — from front-end interfaces to backend services — contributing to feature development, architecture planning, and team mentorship.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain scalable front-end and back-end components using Node.js, React, MongoDB, and related technologies.

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers, QA engineers, and DevOps specialists to deliver reliable, user-focused features.

• Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate them with cloud-based infrastructure.

• Ensure code security and quality by adhering to OWASP best practices and relevant compliance standards such as HIPAA and GDPR.

• Conduct unit testing, code reviews, and contribute to continuous integration processes.

• Mentor and support junior developers, while actively participating in architectural and technical decision-making.

Qualifications:

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience working with the MERN or MEAN stack.

• Strong expertise in MongoDB, Express, React, and Node.js.

• Practical experience with cloud services (preferably AWS).

• Familiarity with WebSockets, RESTful APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile development practices.

• Experience working with databases such as MongoDB, PostgreSQL, or similar systems.

• Solid understanding of security best practices (OWASP) and infrastructure automation tools.

• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Comfortable working with distributed teams and overlapping hours with colleagues based in Pakistan and the United States.
