About the Role:

We’re hiring a Manual QA Engineer (Web) to support the quality assurance of our web applications. In this role, you’ll execute manual test cases, perform cross-browser and functional testing, and collaborate with developers to ensure high-quality releases. You’ll also contribute feedback during requirement reviews and continuously apply QA best practices within the team.

Day to Day:

• Execute detailed manual test cases and test plans for web applications, ensuring adherence to quality standards.

• Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, UAT, and accessibility testing, across different browsers and devices.

• Accurately identify, document, and track defects with clear, concise, and reproducible steps using designated bug tracking systems.

• Collaborate effectively with developers to reproduce and clarify issues, and verify bug fixes.

• Actively participate in reviewing product requirements, providing feedback from a testing perspective.

• Continuously learn and apply QA best practices and methodologies within the team.

• Provide regular updates on testing progress and defect status.

What you bring to the table:

• Minimum 1-3 years of commercial experience as a Manual QA Engineer, specifically with web applications.

• Solid understanding of core software testing principles and methodologies.

• Proven hands-on experience in executing test cases and conducting various types of manual testing.

• Proficiency in using bug tracking tools (e.g., Jira) and test management systems.

• Basic understanding of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and how web applications work.

• Ability to understand requirements and effectively translate them into testable scenarios.

• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.

• Intermediate level of spoken and written English.

It would be great if you also had:

• Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation.

• Familiarity with API testing concepts (e.g., understanding HTTP requests/responses).

• Exposure to automation testing concepts or tools.

• Experience testing on mobile web browsers.
