We're Looking for You!

We need a creative Full-Stack Developer who'll help us transform how people discover new content. You'll build both the interface that users fall in love with and the AI-powered infrastructure that makes the magic happen.

Your talent will be key to ensuring our app works blazingly fast while creating personalized content descriptions for every single user. Soon we're also planning to expand our web app with a mobile version, giving you a chance to grow in that area too.

What You'll Do

Frontend Side:

• Create and develop the TasteRay user interface that actually makes sense

• Implement innovative AI-powered features that personalize user experiences

• Design responsive components that'll make users go "finally!"

• Optimize performance so the app runs lightning-fast

• Help design and build the mobile version

Backend Side:

• Develop and maintain APIs in Edge Computing architecture

• Implement and optimize features using Vercel AI SDK

• Design new API endpoints following best practices

• Manage Cloudflare D1 database, create migrations, optimize queries

• Integrate AI models that improve our recommendations

• Connect external APIs for movies, shows, and other content data

• Monitor performance and proactively solve problems

Full-Stack Awesomeness:

• Collaborate with the team to create cohesive user experiences

• Support development of less experienced team members

• Participate in code reviews and maintain code quality

• Continuously improve user experience

• Actually influence product direction and technical decisions

• Keep user data secure and private

What We Need

Essential Skills:

• Minimum 2 years experience building modern web applications

• Solid knowledge of React and Next.js (min. 2 years practice)

• Very good TypeScript skills

• Experience with Tailwind CSS

• Experience with RESTful APIs and modern design practices

• Experience with SQL databases

• Understanding of authentication and authorization

• Git workflow and CI/CD methodology

• Understanding of web app security principles

• Good communication and teamwork skills

Would Be Great If You Also Know:

• Knowledge of Edge Computing and serverless architecture

• React Native / Expo

• Cloudflare Workers, Cloudflare D1, and other Cloudflare solutions

• Vercel AI SDK and OpenAI API

• Framer Motion for smooth animations

• Clerk for authentication

• Langfuse for AI prompt management

• PostHog for analytics

• Testing tools (Vitest)

• Zod for type validation

• AI and Large Language Models (LLM) topics

• AI coding tools (Cursor, Windsurf, v0, Bolt.new, Lovable, Claude Code)
