🧠 About the project

You’ll join a team working on the backend of a platform used in mission-critical environments. The project involves modernization of the stack and development of new modules in Java 21.

🔧 Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable backend services

• Participate in legacy-to-modern stack transitions

• Work closely with frontend and QA teams

• Maintain high code quality and test coverage

• Take part in architecture discussions

✅ Must have

• 6+ years of experience as Java Developer

• Strong in Java (11+), Spring Boot, REST

• Proficient in SQL and NoSQL (MySQL, MongoDB)

• Knowledge of Maven/Gradle, Git, Docker

• Unit testing (JUnit, Mockito)

• Agile development mindset (Scrum, Jira, Confluence)

• English: B2 or higher

💡 Nice to have

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)

• Involvement in legacy system refactoring and modernization projects (e.g., JSF, JBoss)

• Familiar with secure coding and data protection principles

• Experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry

• Familiarity with Big Data technologies (Hadoop, Spark)

• Experience with content repositories (e.g., Apache JackRabbit)

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Terraform)

• Awareness of observability and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, ELK stack)

• Understanding of container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes)
