We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated AI Developer / Machine Learning Engineer to join our client’s advanced technology team in Krakow, Poland. This is a hands-on role focused on Generative AI, computer vision, OCR, and AI agents, with a strong emphasis on processing both structured and unstructured data. The ideal candidate will be proficient in modern ML techniques, open-source tools, and MLOps practices to develop real-world AI solutions.

About the Role

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement Generative AI models for content search and extraction

• Build and optimize pipelines for processing structured and unstructured data (PDFs, images, text files)

• Apply computer vision techniques like object detection and image classification

• Integrate and customize open-source OCR tools (e.g., Tesseract, EasyOCR)

• Develop and deploy intelligent AI agents capable of autonomous operations

• Utilize conventional ML algorithms and frameworks (e.g., Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch)

• Collaborate with MLOps engineers to deploy scalable and maintainable ML pipelines using tools like MLflow, Kubeflow, Docker, CI/CD

• Optionally contribute to web-based AI applications using modern web technologies

• Translate business problems into practical AI/ML solutions in collaboration with stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in AI/ML development

• Proven expertise in Generative AI applications (especially content search and extraction)

• Strong background in computer vision, image processing, and object detection

• Hands-on experience with structured and unstructured data

• Familiarity with AI agents and autonomous systems

• Proficiency in open-source OCR tools (e.g., Tesseract, EasyOCR)

• Solid grasp of traditional ML techniques and open-source libraries

• Experience with MLOps tools and practices (MLflow, Kubeflow, Docker, CI/CD)

Work Setup: Hybrid – 4 to 6 days onsite per month in Krakow, Poland

This role requires candidates to be physically based in Poland. Any misrepresentation of location will result in immediate disqualification during background verification.
