About the Company 🌐

At Elympics we’re building infrastructure that turns web2 games into web3 money-makers. Our tools help developers and publishers launch skill-based games, run tournaments, and earn real revenue, not just ad money.

Join us as a DevOps Engineer in shaping the future of gaming with Elympics, where innovation and competition meet on the blockchain.

We are not tied to any specific technology and are always in search of new solutions that better meet our expectations. We value someone who is independent, proactive, and enjoys testing new technologies.

We offer a B2B contract with a competitive salary range of 19 000 – 24 000 net PLN or $5,200 – $6,500 monthly, depending on your experience.

On top of that, you get 26 paid days off and 100% paid sick days – no more invoice anxiety.

We work from our office in Warsaw, with the option to work remotely once a week. 🌍

It’s on the 40th floor, with panoramic views, great coffee, seasonal fruit (yes, including fresh pineapple 🍍), and Mleczne Kanapki (milk cream sandwich bars).

You’ll enjoy flexible hours – need to pick up your kid or run to the doctor? Totally fine.

Our Tech Stack at Elympics 🛠️

We're building an infrastructure aimed at hosting competitive multiplayer games, along with the necessary backend services. We integrate secure, competitive gameplay with blockchain monetization smart contracts.

Our backbone? Next.js applications with .NET 8.0 microservices REST APIs and Web3 integration.

Your responsibilities include 🛠️

• Scaling and evolving existing infrastructure to support growing traffic and emerging business needs.

• Enhancing monitoring systems and introducing mechanisms for fast detection and resolution of potential incidents.

• Working closely with development teams to design and implement solutions that improve system architecture and performance.

We’re Looking for Someone With 👀

• Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms (preferably GCP), including diagnosing and resolving cloud infrastructure issues.

• Proven track record in operating and scaling high-availability, mission-critical systems.

• In-depth knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, with strong practical experience.

• Solid understanding of microservices architecture and practical experience working with it.

• Proficiency in CI/CD practices, including building, maintaining, and optimizing deployment pipelines (preferably with Gitlab CI).

• Experience with modern monitoring and observability solutions to ensure system reliability and performance e.g. Prometheus, VictoriaMetrics, Signoz.

• IaC mindset with Terraform or similar tools.

Nice to Have: 👌

• Experience with Helm charts, ArgoCD, Agones, GKE specific k8s features, Cloudflare.
