Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain Java-based applications within the pipeline
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features
• Optimize and improve existing application performance
• Work with databases, ensuring efficient data storage and retrieval
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Troubleshoot and debug issues as they arise
• Follow Agile development processes and participate in team meetings
• Deploy applications and services using AWS cloud technologies

Requirements

• 1+ years of production experience in Java
• **Location requirement:** This role is remote, but we are only considering candidates currently based in Poland, preferably Warszawa, Kraków, Wrocław, Łódź, or Lublin
• Good knowledge of Java Core
• Strong understanding of Software Principles and Design Patterns
• Experience working with Maven
• Experience with RDBMS, such as MySQL / PostgreSQL
• Basic knowledge of NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Redis, Cassandra)
• Good knowledge of Spring Core, MVC, Boot, Data, Security
• Good knowledge of JPA and Hibernate ORM
• Experience in developing RESTful APIs
• Basic knowledge of AWS Cloud services (understanding the difference between AWS S3 and EC2, SQS, SNS, and Lambda)
• Good spoken English (at least B1 level according to CEFR)
