We are searching Senior Test Analyst to join UK Payments team (Faster Payments, BACS, Cash and Cheques). New team is being appointed to support and ensure quality in the area of UK Payments and their interaction with all banking systems. This is not a one-off project, but long-term collaboration focused on providing ongoing quality assurance within this domain.

What you’ll do:

• Performing testing activities (manually and automatically)
• Ensure test status results are properly documented and tracked and defects are logged
• Participation in the review and analysis of appropriate documentation
• Closely cooperating with Production Support, Test Management, Solution Delivery, Business Analyst in order to understand requirements and discuss execution
• Ensure that any issues or risks are addressed in an appropriate manner, escalating them as required
• Creating, running and analysis of automated scripts

Technologies we use in the role: Java / Python for test automation, Cucumber, API testing, Junit, Selenium, SQL, UNIX, XML, Excel, JIRA, Confluence, SOAP UI, Agile, Waterfall

Skills:

• Professional experience in international environment - experience in testing of IT Systems minimum 5 years
• Strong analytical skills, attention to details
• Experience in Bank or any other Financial Institution (Payments systems ideally)
• Practical SQL, SOAP UI
• Knowledge of test management tools like Jira, Confluence
• Experience in using test automation tools
• Willingness to pursue the career in IT environment
• ISTQB certification – nice to have
