What We Need

• Design Versatility: Mid to senior-level designer comfortable with both customer-facing experiences and technical admin interfaces. You've designed for complexity before and aren't intimidated by it. E-commerce UI expertise is highly preferred.
• Systems Thinking: Ability to design cohesive experiences across multiple touchpoints - from 3D configurators to media management to administrative dashboards, with understanding of commerce user flows.
• Technical Collaboration: Experience working closely with development teams, especially frontend developers. Understanding of how design decisions impact technical implementation.
• Cross-Team Collaboration: Comfortable working closely with the development team throughout the design and implementation process.
• User-Centered Approach: Strong foundation in user research and testing principles, working collaboratively with product managers and design leadership.
• Tool Proficiency: Advanced Figma skills for prototyping and team collaboration. Experience with Figma design systems is a nice to have.
• Adaptability: Comfortable designing both standardized product features and custom client solutions that maintain brand consistency.

You won't be the first designer here - you'll join our lead UI/UX designer who has two years of deep experience with our platform. She'll guide you through the complexities while giving you ownership of meaningful projects from day one.

You'll work directly with product managers and have input on product direction. Your design insights will influence not just aesthetics but fundamental product decisions. You'll see your work used by real businesses and real customers immediately.

You'll master design challenges that push you beyond typical web interfaces - creating intuitive ways to interact with 3D objects, designing for technical complexity without overwhelming users, and crafting custom solutions that feel native to diverse client brands.

Your responsibilities

1. This isn't your typical SaaS design role. You won't be designing simple landing pages or optimizing conversion funnels.
2. You'll work across an entire ecosystem of interfaces - from technical admin panels that power complex 3D configurations, to customer-facing configurators where someone designs their dream furniture, to custom UI solutions tailored for specific client needs. Each presents unique challenges that most designers never encounter.
3. The 3D configurator space demands interfaces that are both powerful and intuitive. Users need to manipulate complex 3D objects, navigate extensive product options, and understand technical specifications - all while feeling confident and in control. When your UI fails to communicate clearly, real purchasing decisions hang in the balance.
4. You'll design for multiple audiences simultaneously: end customers who want simplicity, business users who need functionality, and administrators who require comprehensive control. Some days you'll be crafting user flows for media libraries and rule systems. Other days you'll be designing custom interfaces that integrate seamlessly with client brands and workflows.
5. The technical complexity is real - 3D rendering, real-time configuration updates, mobile responsiveness, multiple devices, and performance constraints all impact your design decisions. Every interface choice affects how smoothly complex systems work together.
