We are looking for:

Data Migration Developer (freelance)

Your future role:

  • Data migration strategy and approach definition for large volume, multiple data sources,
  • Leveraging data extract, transform and load (ETL) technologies to accelerate development of data flows,
  • Analysis of data models of source and target systems,
  • Implementation and design of ETL processes,
  • Conducting analysis of source system data with client stakeholders and source system owners to determine a) capacity to meet reporting needs and b) specific transformation rules that need to be applied,
  • Determining how tables relate to each other and how fields interact within the tables for relational & dimensional data models,
  • Data quality verification and assurance.

Apply if you have:

  • Data Migration experience in at least two projects allowing to leverage knowledge for future engagement,
  • Professional experience in design and implementation of ETL solutions,
  • Very good knowledge of procedural SQL languages (T-SQL, PL / SQL),
  • Proficient knowledge of relational databases (in particular MS SQL Server, Oracle),
  • Very good knowledge of at least one ETL tool (in particular: Informatica, Microsoft SSIS, Talend OS, IBM DataStage, ODI),
  • Knowledge of data warehouse models,
  • Strong analytical skills,
  • Very good communication skills (both oral and written communication),
  • Good command of English (C1 level),
  • The ability to operate as a sole proprietor or business entity within Poland (due to the project-based nature of the employment).

Nice to have:

  • Experience with Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks,
  • Experience with Business Intelligence systems,
  • Experience with Master Data Management and Data Quality systems,
  • Knowledge of statistical packages,
  • BigData projects experience,
  • Knowledge of programming or script languages.
