Senior Software Engineer (.NET – AI)

Location: Warsaw (remote for now, hybrid soon)

Salary: up to 22 000 PLN/month

Contract type: B2B

Our client is a US-based technology company headquartered in New York City, delivering innovative digital solutions and cloud-based platforms for private capital markets. With offices in multiple countries, the company is currently investing in a new engineering centre in Warsaw, highly valuing the technical expertise and strong work culture of Polish software engineers.

Currently, our client is building a new team in Warsaw. For now, the work is fully remote, but within a few months, team members will be expected to work onsite in the Warsaw office 3 days a week.

About the role

As a Senior Software Engineer (.NET – AI), you will play a key role in developing and enhancing a world-class fintech software suite. You will work on scalable backend systems, ensure code quality through automated testing, and contribute to robust architecture while collaborating closely with other experts.

What you will do

• Design maintainable, extensible backend components
• Write clean, scalable .NET code (C#, ASP.NET, .NET MVC, Core)
• Develop automated unit and integration tests
• Debug, refactor, and enhance existing software
• Build and document APIs and system components
• Monitor applications and provide technical support
• Ensure adherence to development standards and secure coding practices

What we are looking for

• 5+ years of experience as a Software Engineer
• Strong skills in C#, ASP.NET, MVC, and .NET Core
• Solid experience with MS Entity Framework and SQL Server
• Knowledge of architectural styles (MVC, REST, RPC)
• Experience with Azure (App Service, Service Bus, SQL, Monitor, etc.)
• Familiarity with secure coding principles (OWASP)
• Hands-on experience with test frameworks (NUnit, xUnit, MSTest)
• Version control using Git
• Understanding of Agile development practices
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
• Knowledge of JavaScript and HTML

Nice to have

• Experience with frontend SPA frameworks (React, Vue, Angular)
• Fintech or financial services industry experience
